CEED Albania, during 18, 19 and 25 September 2014 will organize the Second Training Session with in focus the Women as Entrepreneur.
The overall objective of this initiative, Empowering Women in Business (EWB), is to enhance the leadership, management and entrepreneurial skills of early-stage and existing women entrepreneurs/managers, diminish the human capital gap and increase the number of women entrepreneurs and managers who own/manage SMES and who contribute to the national economies of the region.
The categories of beneficiaries targeted with the program will be the Women managers and leaders of mature businesses who need to strengthen their managerial skills and learn how to balance between their individual task, leadership and supervisory responsibilities and prepare for assuming top management positions.
Activities for the program are based upon the needs identified in recent research. To address the needs of women at a middle level leadership and managerial positions, CEED would deliver a specifically designed capacity building program to address their specific role in the companies – between the top level managers and employees – and address their specific needs.
The ‘Women in Leadership’ program is designed to address the needs of women in middle management, and to guide their way to company top management and leadership.
The Training is divided into three modules:
Module I – “Designing of the strategy and business model foundation for the Purpose of Its Execution”, dated 18 September 2014
Module II – “The Execution strategy based on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC)”, dated 19 September 2014
Module III – “Hierarchy, responsibilities and Business Communication and Time Management. Investment Analysis and SME Financing”, dated 25 September 2014.
All three modules will take place from 14:00 to 19:00, in the Conference Hall of the “Hotel Socrates”, Tirana.

During June 2014, CEED Albania has successfully implemented the First Training Session, in which were involved 15 Early stage entrepreneurs, including women who have recently started a business.
At the end of the Trainings Program, Participants from each of the programs will come together at the conclusion of the program for a networking event.
